Near Media has been publishing since January 2021.
We’ve tried different business models and embraced search user testing. While people love the data, it has been challenging to find individual clients to commit $30K+ per project.
We are now at a point where we must find a more sustainable model or wind down.
What we do
We engage real people in real-life search situations and track their mobile and desktop behaviors (and their thought processes). We provide deep analysis of those sessions and their concrete strategic and tactical implications for brands and marketers.
Verticals
To date, we’ve conducted studies for clients (and ourselves) in multiple verticals:
- Legal
- Healthcare
- Home Services
- Self Storage
- Hotels
- Restaurants
User behavior is often counterintuitive and can vary significantly by vertical:
- Clicks/zero-click activity
- Critical and decisive business attributes
- Engagement with SERP features
- Response to ad types
We're "kickstarting" a new subscription offering.
$2,500/yr, billed annually ($208/mo)
- 6 new vertical studies of searcher behavior similar to our research in Hotels where subscribers influence vertical choices
- NEW Deep-dive GBP analysis by vertical and geography
- Near media newsletters (moving behind paywall)
- Near media analysis (moving behind paywall)
- NEW “Office hours”— Tactical Q&A with us
What we need from you:
To be viable, we need 100 subscribers to commit to this program by Nov 18.
How to commit: Email dm@nearmedia.co and just say “yes I’m interested.”
We’ll send an email to our subscribers with an update on the 18th.
If we meet or exceed 100 subscribers, we’ll follow up with each of you individually for a secure credit card payment.
And, if we don't meet the 100 subscriber threshold, we've certainly appreciated the opportunity to be present in your inbox these last four years.
